Two Legends of Aviation

World Book editors have prepared a presentation in honor of two legends of aviation—Charles Lindbergh and Amelia Earhart. May 20-21 marks the anniversary of Charles Lindbergh's historic solo flight across the Atlantic Ocean in 1927, and July marks the anniversary of Amelia Earhart's disappearance over the Pacific Ocean during her attempt to fly around the world in 1937.
