Here is a way to make a picture frame for your favorite photo or painting.

1. You will need a piece of thick cardboard, slightly larger than the picture you want to frame.
    
2. Ask a grown-up to cut a rectangle from the middle of the cardboard. This should be slightly smaller than your picture.
    
3. Cover the frame with several layers of paste and newspaper strips.
    
4. When the frame is dry, you can paint it bright colors. Or you could tear shapes out of colored paper and paste them on the frame.
    
5. Next, tape your painting or photograph to the back of the frame.
