1. Pour 2 cups cold milk into a small mixing bowl.
2. Add the package of vanilla pudding to the milk. 3. Beat with a fork or wire whisk until the pudding begins to thicken (about 1 to 2 minutes). Stop every once in a while and use a rubber spatula to push the pudding down from the sides of the bowl so it all gets mixed thoroughly. 4. Beat the pudding for a few seconds more. 5. Spoon a small amount of the pudding into one of the glasses. Then slowly add a thin layer of chocolate syrup. Continue adding more rows of pudding and chocolate syrup until you get near the top of the glass. Make your last (top) layer chocolate syrup. Repeat the same process with the other three glasses. 6. Let the glasses sit for at least five minutes so the pudding can set. 7. Cover the tops of the glasses with plastic wrap and store them in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve the pudding.
