I am a 64 yr. old vascular surgeon and my wife is a 64 yr. old college biology instructor. We both grew up with the World Book in our homes, raised our children with them and continue to replace them every 10 years. The 2016 set arrived 2 weeks ago and I am thrilled with it...well written, easily accessible, and beautifully illustrated, as always. Despite 3 PCs and 2 smart phones between us, the printed World Book continues to make sense for quick access to reliable knowledge without having to sort through someone's political agenda. Keep up the good work! Jerry Svoboda, MD

Even though the internet is great, a good set of encyclopedias on a bookshelf adds dignity, depth and quality to a home library. I have found that the World Book Encyclopedia is the best reference set for many different reasons. For one, the content. It is extremely readable and approachable. The content is always up to date and very in-depth. The encyclopedia is also a stunning piece and looks almost like artwork on my shelf. Great job World Book! You did it again!

The world book is one of the greatest pieces of literature ever written throughout the history of mankind. I read the book everynight to my children, and they are always captivated by its deep characters and topics. It is a great reference book for school work, and mere curiosity. My children's curiosity and desire to attain knowledge is well fed by the World Book. It is a great resource for anyone to have, and truly encourages children and adults alike to learn the most they can about the world around them.
