Put your phone down and your laptop away, August 9th is National Book Lovers Day!

NBLD is an unofficial holiday that encourages people to pick up a book (or two) and spend the day reading. For some, getting the motivation to read is a struggle. At World Book, we strive to make learning fun by continuing to publish trustworthy, engaging, and highly appealing supplementary print series for kids of all ages. Covering high-interest topics, our easy-to-read books are the definition of “disguised learning” and are created to both entertain and educate. From kids’ favorite brands to survival stories, from coding and computer basics to deep-fried insects, we are excited to announce our new fall print releases and invite you to explore them for yourselves.

New Releases (Coming Soon!)

Social and Emotional Learning Collection

This collection covers topics that will plant the seeds for academic success. Each series introduces topics that will help children develop the ability to recognize and understand their emotions, feel empathy for others, make good decisions, manage stress, establish positive relationships, and cultivate a growth mindset.

Survival Stories

When faced with nature’s life-and-death circumstances, how would you respond? Survival Stories recounts true stories of people overcoming adversity and surviving against the odds. Readers will learn which decisions led to their survival as well as tips and tricks on how to survive in similar situations.

That's Disgusting!

From deep-fried insects to London’s “Fatberg,” this high-interest series is sure to make your reluctant readers scream, “That’s Disgusting!”.

Where Does It Come From?
